This is a 43-year-old patient who was bothered by his progressively receding hairline and had previously undergone a hair transplant procedure by a well-known and highly marketed national hair restoration chain. He was unhappy with the results and wanted even more density along the frontal hairline and more correction along the temples where the hairline was receding. He was also very dissatisfied with the large linear scar along the posterior side of his scalp as a result of the strip harvest method used (you can see this horizontal scar just under his index finger in the picture of the back of the head). He underwent the Neograft hair transplant procedure where each hair follicle is individually harvested by hand leaving no linear or visible scar, and then each of these two thousand hair follicle grafts were placed and oriented to lower the hairline, thicken the frontal hair density and improve the temporal recession areas.
