This is a 57-year-old woman who had bariatric surgery and lost over 150 pounds. As is typical with massive weight loss, she had excess loose skin that had lost it’s elasticity and recoil and caused hanging loose skin folds all over her body. To address the abdomen, we performed a traditional abdominoplasty with tightening of the abdominal wall and removal of the excess skin laxity as well as lipocontouring of the abdomen, waistline and flanks. She has a fantastic result and is so happy and more comfortable with her body now.
