VASERlipo Procedure
VASERlipo sends pulsating ultrasound waves to target areas to generate heat which effectively breaks apart fatty tissue and disconnects it from underlying muscle. During a VASERlipo procedure, Dr. Reis will sedate the patient with anesthesia and begin the treatment by filling the treatment area with a saline solution. He’ll then use the VASERlipo device to send ultrasound energy to fat cells in the target area before removing them from the body using power assisted liposuction.
VASERlipo Recovery
Following a VASERlipo procedure, patients may experience swelling, bruising and discomfort in treatment areas. Like traditional liposuction, patients are provided with a compression garment they need to wear for three months after the procedure. While improvement is visible immediately following the procedure, they will continue to improve over time as swelling and inflammation subsides. Final results can be seen as early as 2-3 months with full results seen approximately 6 months after VASERlipo treatment.

I am three weeks post-surgery after a tummy tuck. Dr. Reis did brachioplasty and a thigh lift for me earlier in the year, after I had a significant weight loss that left me with a lot of loose skin.
